Black screen possibly bricked my console

Alright so I'm now going to be as detailed as possible with my issue so that others may possibly help me before I destory my xbox for real lol.

My Xbox is suffering some weird black screen glitch where I turn it on but no power up sound occurs. Ontop of that no picture appears on the screen and my controller cannot connect to the console. Furthermore it makes soft little beeps every 3 seconds when
booting up for about 30 seconds. I cannot turn off my console by simply tapping it once i must hold it, and no button combinations help at all. It seems when i disconnect the power source from the xbox, my T.V allows me to switch to the HDMI/DVI channel. However
the minute the xbox's power source is reconnected it greys out the HDMI/DVI setting on my T.V. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated because no amount of disconnecting or hard resets seems to work.

I can't figure out what happened

Did you update to the new home screen via the preview program? Many of us are having problems with it. Pretty much bricked my console.

not displaying anything at all

xbox 1 is not displaying anything. It powers on, but only a black screen displays. When I hard press the xbox button to shut down, it displays the "shut down console" and the "shut off controller" options, otherwise, it appears to have been bricked.

It would seem you have selected a resolution for your Xbox that your TV doesn't support. Try this.

Reset your display settings. Here's how:

If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.

On the console, press and hold the Xbox button
for five seconds to turn off the console.

Press and hold the Xbox button
and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. DO NOT LET GO until the second beep occurs.

Note This will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, go to
Settings in the guide, select Display & sounds, Video options,
and then TV Resolution.

If you are required to complete these steps on every boot-up, you will want to change your TV connection to HDMI as shown in step 3 in the next section, "Your screen is blank and you use an AVR in your setup." For more information, see How
to adjust the display settings on your Xbox One console.

and it isnt just black screen when i put in/load a game, its black from the moment i turn on the xbox. just to clarify. my xbox is a brick right now

The green “XBOX” screen shows at boot up but the dashboard is all black. I also get the little blue pop up at the bottom of the screen that it has logged me onto my account (Hi “gamer tag”!) over the black dashboard.

I’ve tried restarting many times.

I’ve seen there’s a recent issue with the dashboard malfunctioning and turning the screen black, effectively bricking the console unless you can reset it. I can’t even bring up a troubleshoot menu to reset it though.

when i turn on my xbox, the lights are green on the ring as normal like it should be but screen on the tv is still black. on the power brick the light is green

Got home from work...had to unplug my xbox to get it on...got past hard reset now it's just a black screen try to turn it off normally and just flashes and doesnt turn off

I unplugged to cycle it still a black screen. Did this update just brick my system
