    Black screen on dashboard!!!


    I see thousands of complaints of black screens and dashboards not working properly. I have the same issue but also run my cable through my xbox one and its a hassle to try to reconnect the cables. Anyone else have this issue as well? Please fix ASAP. #freegoldmembershipfeesforcompensation

    Green screen to black screen

    Just as a heads up, the black screen is normal.

    It should be green splash, black screen then dashboard.

    After a system update, the black screen can remain for a few minutes before you see anything.

    There is an issue on the server side. Microsoft tweeted out that they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.

    You can check the status of the service at Xbox Live Status

    It sounds like they should have this fixed soon. Hopefully you can get back to gaming.
