    "Black Screen Of Death"

    Having this issue now but my xbox had no update played Titanfall 2 for a hour screen froze restarted xbox and its just on Green xbox one logo forever then goes to the black screen and my xbox turns off. Really just about to give up and cancel all my pre-orders
    I have for xbox I don't have time or money to fix a system or buy another one thanks Microsoft

    Hi xXSOULSHAK3RXx,

    Sorry you're having issues applying your update. I would suggest trying the OSUDT again (sometimes it works if you try more than once). If that doesn't work, then unfortunately the only option would be a full repair of the console. Please see

    Hi, should the above not work there is always the option to factory restore the Xbox using a USB flash drive as described in the following link.

    As you're seeing the green screen before things go to black it would appear that the Xbox is sending the signal to your TV correctly so a factory restore may be the way to go.
