    Black Screen of Death - Please Help if Possible


    -Preface-

    Xbox One X

    Been working on and off on this issue since the end of August I guess, but been busy and been having very little luck when trying to fix it.

    So my brothers system was working. We'd been using it for TV/Movies in the living room and like always shut it off at the end of the day. Seems it updated over night. The next morning it'd power up to a "No Signal".

    It responds to it's controller powering it up and to the power button on the console.

    If the TV is off it'll power it up.

    My system and phone show the "Brother is Online" Notifications.

    I've tried powering down and unpluging methods

    I've tried holding the different buttons

    I've tried different HMDI Cables and TVs

    and I've tried the USB Reset file from /u/Spartan4845

    I suggest you send it back to the shop you brought it from and they will replace it. You have just brought it so there should be no problem in doing so. It could just be a manufacturing defect.

    I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this unexpected issue with your Xbox.

    I would like to ask, did you try to connect your console to a different TV, HDMI port, or by using a brand new HDMI cable.
