    Black screen of death. No dashboard


    A couple weeks ago, my Xbox One Launch Edition no longer showed any video. It would boot up just fine, but nothing else. After a few Google searches, I found out about low resolution mode. Successfully put it in low res mode, but still have no dashboard. I'm able to bring up the shutdown/restart menu and choose any of those options, but that's it. Absolutely nothing else. I can't get into any settings whatsoever to be able to change/reset my display settings. Am I completely out of luck? Any other options I might have?

    I’m having the same issue.

    I’ve already tried:

    Hold power button then turning back on.

    Keep on for over 10min.

    Unplug from wall for over 5min.

    Holding power and eject button to lower res.

    Nothing is working and I’m starting to get annoyed. I’ve had it since maybe 2014 and it’s always worked fine.

    It turns on, loads the green screen then goes to black. I can hold the X button on the controller to bring up the turn off controller, console, reset options and that’s it.

    "Black Screen Of Death " ? I turned around and the screen was black but when the home button is pressed - the dashboard still comes up . Very slow responses . Still will not let me do anything SOSOSOS PLZ SEND HELP WHAT IS HAPPENING
