Black screen, no sound

    Hi

    Can someone help

    Last night i was on playing CoD and half way through the match my screen went black and there was no sound even when i pressed the big X button, tuned it off by machine, turned on and still no sound and black screen i checked the cables and even replaced
    them to no avail, when its switched on it has just the normal green light.

    no sound screen turns black

    all of a sudden I have no audio through surround sound and my screen turns black. Tried bypassing audio receiver and still happens. Could this be a bad Hdmi port on the Xbox one?

    Could be. It could also be a bad HDMI cable.

    If a different HDMI cable has the same issue, Try a full power cycle of your console. (Unplug the console completely for a few minutes.)

    If the problem still persists, register your console for repair at myservice.xbox.com
