    Black screen, no menus, restart doesn't help


    This morning, my xbox had a black screen upon startup. I tried to reset by holding the xbox button on the console for the 10 seconds, but it didn't help.

    I also held the power and eject button to start up in lower resolution, but it hasn't changed. The only menu I can get is the one to turn off the xbox.

    How can I force a reset without having any visible screen to pull up the system menu?

    HI, I have the same issue and have just done a factory reset and is all working fine , first turn off xbox by holding down power button , wait 1 min , then whilst holding down the sync button and eject button together , turn xbox back on and it will give you the option to factory reset your console , re-sign in and your back up and running. Hope this helps. Need three hands to do this but it does give you the option to factory reset

    Thank you, but unfortunately, I have already followed through those steps and nothing there has helped, as you need some form of the menu and visual on the tv or monitor.
