Black screen & my controller wont work when i turn on my console

Mine is doing the same when i turn it on it shows up black screen and i can click home button but i cant controll anything it wont work can i please get some info on this please. is my xbox broke or is other people getting it

Lately I have noticed that when I turn on my controller after it's been off for the night and I leave the TV screen and go home, my home screen freeze and my controller wont do nothing. I let the controller sit turned on for about a minute and then all of
a sudden it will work and perfrom all actions I did while it was frozen...... ?? I have updated my controller, no hard reset but have shut the console off by accident.

Does this work if it loads to a black screen only. On March 2nd I cold rebooted my console, due to lag on the tv side. When I turned it on the screen stays black. Light on console comes on and make the sound when power button is pressed. After that just
a black screen.

The screen is blank/black when I turn on the console, so I cant really see anything. And the controller doesn't connect to the console, prabably because the display settings are wrong. And everything seems fine with the A/V cable (the screen does work and
the controller connects)

I think my console or controller have a delay Also. I just exchanged my console and controller (the controller cause it had a scratchy button and the console cause it made slow interval clicking and when that happens my screen turns black and have to reset
it every time) and i gotta figure out if its the controller of the console that has that delay.
