Discus and support Black Screen issue within the Wireless Display app. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; As of the last few weeks i've been having issues with the "Wireless Display" app. The main one being I literally can't project anything to my Xbox One....     Black Screen issue within the Wireless Display app.


    As of the last few weeks i've been having issues with the "Wireless Display" app. The main one being I literally can't project anything to my Xbox One.

    When I connect my Windows 10 laptop to my XB1, I get nothing but a black screen within the app, although my PC states that it is "Connected" with my console. Any ideas on why this might be happening? The app used to work fine for me.

    Wireless Display App

    Having a bit of an issue with the Wireless Display App. Has worked seamlessly on my original black Xbox One without any issues, however since upgrading to an Xbox One S (both in preview program) all I get is a green screen when connecting my laptop. Sound
    still comes through fine, just a big green screen and no desktop display. Anyone encountered this?

    Wireless Display (preview)

    . . . same here when the app is launched the screen becomes black and after a view seconds goes back to the xbox one home screen. i tried uninstalling, rebooting console, and reinstalling wireless display (preview) app and that did not resolve the issue.
    Really hope someone from product group support takes notice of this issue and resolves it as w/o this you have to go buy hardware to enable miracasting phone and tablet screens onto console connected big screen.

    Really hope someone from product group support takes notice of this issue and resolves it as w/o this you have to go buy hardware to enable miracasting phone and tablet screens onto console connected big screen.

    Same thing for me. Some communication from MS would be nice.

    Xbox App freezes or black screens when streaming from Xbox Series X

    Hello,

    I've taken these steps and the issue has not resolved. I believe the issue is within the Xbox App, not the console. I can stream from the console to YouTube or Twitch without any issues but encounter freezing and black screens when exiting or entering full screen in the Xbox App when streaming to my PC from the console through the Xbox App.
