    Black Screen for my Launch Team Console


    When booting on my console it goes to the green Xbox screen after a handful of seconds the screen goes black and never reaches the dashboard. I have attempted a hard reset. A hard reset followed by unplugging and then starting. A hard reset followed by
    unplugging power and all cables and then starting. Nothing has worked.

    Battlefield 4 is a complete disaster

    I bought one launch title with my console and can't even play the game.

    - Multiplayer match crashes

    - Black screens

    - Numerous glitches

    - Difficulty inviting friends to matches

    Battlefield 4 should have been delayed until 2014. Where is the Microsoft Quality Assurance team?

    Black Screen for my Launch Team Console

    If it is your first Setup you`ll Need some Patience untill it is finished.

    Make shure your Powwer- Support is connected well. and don^t use power stripes..

    Hard Reset by Holding Power Button ~10 seconds, then wait until powersupply light has turned Orange? next step unplug for 60 seconds -> TRY AGAIN

    My TV Switches Input of HDMI at my TV a few seconds after I start up Console..

    May yours also... can you test that? before doing other Steps...

    Next Steps:

    Can you try Boot up Console in Slow Resolution Mode? for that hold Eject Button while pressing Power Button...

    Here are some Troubleshooting Steps..

    Can you elaborate on the black screen glitch issue? I experienced this after downloading Motorcross Madness this weekebd (one of this month's Games w/ Gold). As soon as I launch the game, I get the black screen. Only way to get out is to reboot console.

    Hello there,

    I have an Xbox One X and this issue started occuring after an insider update so I presume you are also part of the insider program. Once I saw the black screen on my tv, my first instinct was to turn off or restart console but instead I ended up just pressing a bunch of the face buttons until the black screen went away. This happened to me twice afterwards the insider team released another update to fix this. Once you get past the screen, update your console and the black screen should go away.

    Yup, still have sound and can still manipulate the console, you can here the menu tones and chimes as you borrow buttons after the screen goes black.

    It seems that it's just the display setting keeps changing when trying to launch Netflix, and them the screen goes black.

    Hey there, YEE5US! I'm sorry to see that your game launches into a black screen! Let's see if we can get it working for you.

    First we're going to
    clear your system cache     on your console 3 times. After that, go ahead and shut your console off for 5 minutes. Once the time is up, turn on your console and try to launch up your game. You should be good!

    If you're still seeing that black screen when launching up Black Ops 2, please post back and we'll try some more troubleshooting for you!
