Black Screen Flashes Since Update

Since the update I get a black screen flash up every now and again whilst playing games or using apps. I've had this happen with Fallout 4 and tonight whilst using the NFL. It's not very often but I can't time it, sometimes it's a quick flicker, other times
it goes off completely for about a second, it is pretty annoying though.

Will a new hard drive fix black screen ? Lost power during update ,black screen since . Cannot reset

 

I have the same problem. I've tried using 3 different hdmi cables, and all the ports on my tv but to no success. The screen also flashes when i watch movies. It doesn't happen often but like you say its really annoying.

 

I am also experiencing the same issue. I have ordered new cables as I thought it may be the issue.

The issue happens in game and outside of it at the root of the NXOE.

I am using a Yamaha HDMI receiver as a passthrough with a Sharp LED TV. I was wondering if either of you have similar equipment.

 

Still having the issue. I have a Panasonic TV but everything passes through my Yamaha sound bar.

 

Clearing the system catch seems to fix this problem I've helped a few people today try to let me know how it works

 

hey @alien aeon, do you have your PC and your Xbox running into the same screen or more than one device running through it? i have noticed that after the update and being on the preview program, that it seems to draw more power and causes the flicker when
more than one device is running through the same screen at once.

Try only having your Xbox run directly through your screen and see if that makes a difference.

Also i notice that most of you are using a "pass-through" try going directly to the screen.

Also as said above a cache clear or maybe a power cycle could do the trick.

 

I am still having this issue as well. It does seem as if it may be a issue between the Xbox and the HDMI passthrough. The thing I am struggling with is that no other devices are having issues. I have replaced my HDMI cables, changed port on the passthrough,
tried many settings changes, I just cant find a fix. Short of resetting and resyncing all of my games Im at a loss as to why this would be happening.
