    the problem.

  2. Hi

Why cant this issue be a xbox hardware problem? if you guys remeber in the past (Xbox 360) there are some motherboard very bad (Zafir, Falcon) 3 red rings of that... Who never end up with a dead console at home. Theres is someone on here who have tried get
another xbox one and give a try to see what happens? like two boxes in the same Sony/Philips TV? i Would try this but theres is no one nearby me who has the console so i cant help with that.

KevAmiga and hooliganuk1968, if you use the same kind of cable on your Xbox One and laptop, then it is not rare you have the same problem. Have you tried using an HDMI 1.4 high speed cable on both?

The cable is not expensive, so it is not a waste.

Small update on the cable - I now tried an HDMI 1.4 High Speed cable (much more affordable than the other one) and it still works. Thanks DarkSch666 for the help. Glad I don't have to buy a new TV for this black screen flash ;).

  6. Make sure you are using the included HDMI that came with the X1 as the male end has a deeper socket to it. Notice how much deeper the stock one is than the one you possibly have. It sounds like to me your losing the hand shake between your box and TV.

Check that cable end. If its not deep enough, it won't seat right and that has been the cause of many of these issues.

    Good luck!!

  7. You can certainly use a cable other than the one that came with the console. Just make sure the male ends socket is just as deep. Perhaps as I mentioned to others, take the cable with you to match up with others to make sure. Of course it could always be
a bad cable, I see that allot also but this is the first step that many have found out is the issue.

I have this happen often but only during game play. I have a Samsung so I don't believe it has anything to do with the type of TV.

  11. As some have mentioned, you need to use the HDMI cable supplied with the Xbox and verify it is secure on the TV and the console, throwing the controller will not help in any way.

  12. If there would be a loose Connection MY TV would Display: "There is no Signal"

    But it does not.

So that means, that the XB1 is sending BlackScreen Signal and no Audio in this short break!

    Definitly a XBOX Problem.

All other devices works well on My TV.

HDMI is a standart Protocol which seems to be not used by Microsoft.

@Bhutankam it seems your one is a desperate case, sorry for your bad luck in this matter. But the truth is that the HDMI 1.4 High Speed cable worked for me and it seems for another people.

It is not only on Xbox, I have seen some blu-ray players that flickers in 1080p mode and not when changed to 720p mode. All around HDMI connection is really obscure.

I would recommend you to try some another options, like using an HDMI Hub, like this one

    www.amazon.es/.../ref=sr_1_2

All focused in "modify" the HDMI signal, maybe with one option the resulting signal is OK for Xbox <-> TV communication, that is really the problem, a sync problem.

But use the Hub with the HDMI High Speed cable first, that will be always better than the stock one.

    Good luck.

  14. I will also suggest that the Xbox is plugged directly to house power, it is not supposed to use surge protectors, power strips or extension cords. If at all possible use the same wall socket for the TV as The HDMI signal may be distorted if polarity is not
observed on both the console and the TV. And both the console and the TV should have been purchased in the region they are being used in, power converters if used will be an issue.

  15. I have the same problem. I've got my Xbox One yesterday and I am using a Philips HD TV. The only thing I still can try is use the 1.4 HDMI cable. I have bought it online so I'll be able to check within some days. When this will not work I will sell my Xbox
One and don't buy one again. It is ridicilous that Microsoft doesn't do anything about this. Last Microsoft product I will ever buy.
