Black Screen And Freezing

If you are experiencing this then it could be what was left over from last PBS problems to do with anything associated with online E.G. Xbox live or Netflix. This also affects games too even though the fault has been fixed for the majority it might not be
where you are. you can still play games offline and keep checking Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage to see if there is anything else that could be causing the problem.
if you want to play offline on a game simple disconnect your xbox from the internet so it cannot reconnect to it and sign out of xbox live then restart your xbox and you should be able to play games offline.

Xbox360 black screen!!!

I just posted a reply to another thread about this same issue. Black screen and screen freezing. I found if you remove the Hard Drive, DVD movies work without the black screen or freezing.

 

Xbox One S 4K Output/Input

Its standard 4k that I'm struggling with, keeps freezing on black screen, managed to watch movie in 4k then went back to menu and got black screen and had to restart.

 

Wow, this sounds just like my issue. I'll try this right now, thank you for the information.

Edit: Yup, just tried offline and the issue doesn't occur. Thanks very much for this, I'll await a resolution through Live.
