    Black screen after Xbox green boot screen


    Hi Guys,

    I have a problem since I got updates on Monday 2nd Nov, on Tuesday 3rd Nov I get the Xbox green loading screen, then a black screen after that. The hard drive is working away and the Kinect still loads up, and will wake up from controller but with no picture.
    Is it connected to any updates that came out, or do I have a hardware failure?

    I can't figure out what happened

    Same boat here. Green boot-up screen then black screen. Press the home button and you'll get some dialogue.

    I pretty much have the same problem . I dont have kinect though.

    Hi Guys,

    Just to update on this issue, after talking with Xbox support and trying the offline update tool which failed with an error code, the final option was a reset to factory settings. This has worked OK and Xbox one is now working properly againBlack screen after Xbox green boot screen :)

    I’m sorry I’m afraid the screen is still black, I had the green boot up screen but it’s still just a black screen.

    Considering that the console weighs almost 17 lbs I don't think that $10 covers for the full cost of shipping but only partial. Still a good deal in my opinion.
