    Hi all

    I faced a problem that the update was stuck at 26 and did not change for a period of time so I turned off the device but then hung on the black screen

    The device also works for 10 seconds and turns off by itself

    I tried hard reset holding the three-button but still BLACK SCREEN

    also, I try to download the Firmware and I plug it hoping to get any other screen but without interest

    Perform a hard reset and power cycle your console. Hold down the power button on the console for 10 seconds while it shuts down. Then remove the power cable from the outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect everything and boot back up.

    After reading all of your suggestions and seeing my xbox frozen with the screen saying

    "time to update"

    Getting ready With a black screen I decided to wait I waited a hour no change so I put my xbox one battlefield 4 disk in since I didn't want to turn it off during a update and when I ejected my disk it restarted my xbox and I was able to continued through
    my update. Hope this helps

    I'm having a similar issue. I was prompted to update to the new dashboard I'm guessing and after loading the update and starting to apply it the TV turned of then on then off again and now having manually turned it back on I'm getting a black screen only.
