Black screen after Titanfall update!

Jaymo1978 you're the boss, totally worked after doing what you said. Though I think this is some glitch with the game post update. You shouldn't have to change your system settings for the game to load. Glad it was a simple'ish fix!

No problem, glad it's working now, but I totally agree with you, you definitely shouldn't have to turn off one of the key features of the system. It's got to be update-related.

I am also experiencing this issue as well and was curious if you ever found the solution. I have reinstalled this game twice as well and it goes through the intro screen then goes black and the pings flux like crazy. I have played other games on the X1
and NO PROBLEMS at all so I know it's not the console. Let me know if you found the root cause of this. HELP!!

I'm having the same issue as well, I've re-installed Titanfall 2x, done a hard restart but continue to get a black screen whenever I try to play. I would like to know what the issue is as well.
