Black screen after Titanfall update!

Just logged in and there was a update for titanfall- did the update and now when I play the game the screen just goes black. Did a hard restart, unplugged for a couple minutes- turned back on and tried again same thing. Reinstalled the disc and then it
got into the game and then when I hit play in the menu- it froze in that loading screen and then went black again. I just uninstalled and am going to try again- is this a issue going on right now?

i go load titanfall ready happen freeze black screen, i try again lpad that after crash back home xbox. i think update wrong loseroblemm crash too.

fix update titanfall freeze and crash problem remove. need old back update 3 before.

why everyday each change challage dairly happen that might.

i was 5 times titanfall go happen crash **** up server fix Respawn.

 

Have You Ever Had To Do A Hard Reset?

The only time I did a hard reset was after loading the Titanfall Beta, black screen.

 

No issues at the moment reported. Sounds like it corrupted during install. Like you said erase then re-install. Let us know, so we can assist you in remedying this situation.

 

Reinstalled 3x now, it was working fine before the update. It gets to the menu and just freezes now then goes black again. Says my east coast connection is 16-17 ms, I can't understand what the issue is.

 

I'm having the same issue as well, I've re-installed Titanfall 2x, done a hard restart but continue to get a black screen whenever I try to play. I would like to know what the issue is as well.

 

I am also experiencing this issue as well and was curious if you ever found the solution. I have reinstalled this game twice as well and it goes through the intro screen then goes black and the pings flux like crazy. I have played other games on the X1
and NO PROBLEMS at all so I know it's not the console. Let me know if you found the root cause of this. HELP!!

 

I'm having the same issue, mine is the digital version, and also my digital version on Nba 2k14 isn't working either...but Mlb Tv is fine...

so this seems to work for the most part.

hold the power button on the console for 10 sec while the console is on (keep holding even when it turns off) and then hold the power button another 10 seconds while the console is off (after releasing from the first 10 sec hold). fixed issue for myself
and buddies, hope it helps.

 

Mine won't play right as I select it from my home screen, it shows the titanfall image and then blacks out! I've done all the resets and purges etc. and am trying an install but nothing seems to work! Any suggestions?

 

I`ve been having the same problem with Titanfall and Forza 5, try to play them but is not loading up the games, the screen stays black, does anyone knows why??

 

Hey gang! Potential workaround here, I've heard folks with similar issues in the past, and this was one fix which seemed to work.

From your Home screen, press Menu -> Settings and go to "Power & Startup." In this area, UNcheck the box for "Resume Games Quickly." Hard-restart your console (by holding power 5-10 seconds, then waiting for power brick to turn orange before powering-on),
and then try the game again.
