Black Screen After Startup

So, we're having some issues this morning with our Xbox One. My daughter started it up and said it had to do an update, I didn't see myself. But now the console will start up like regular. The green screen and logo will come up, but after that, just black. I have waited the suggested 10 minutes or so, but nothing has changed. I am able to press and hold the home/Xbox button on the controller and it does come up with the "Turn Controller Off - Turn Console Off" bit like regular though. But there's just black otherwise. I did try the holding eject and the power after leaving it unplugged for 5 minutes too. Which, did change it to the low resolution mode, but still black after the start up animation. Has anyone else encountered this and had any remedies by chance?

none of the above tips have helped me either. screen stays black after startup...

The power button on my Xbox started flashing when it got to the startup screen after that the screen turned black and it booted up normally

Hey there! To minimize confusion because troubleshooting may be different for preview updates than regular versions, you'll want to post this, and everything else preview related in the preview forums (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx).
This will also ensure that the proper team sees your post and can help you out. Also, make sure you look at the list of known issues to see if there is a workaround.

If you haven't already, be sure to report any issues via the preview app on your console, so that all relevant data gets reported to Microsoft.

we're having the same or similar problem and nothing is working to fix it. I've tried the hard boot, the reset, the offline update, even the factory reset... still ... the xbox will power on but the operating system won't start and will have nothing on
the screen. All our cables are good- checked those. Outlets are good- checked those! I've checked everything and am really disgusted with this piece of crap at the moment. Have you had any luck? any advice that worked? found anything the might work?

Hello This problem has happened to me, too. i did what you said But it's still a black screen. And I'm not in troubleshooting. Just black screen
