Black Screen after starting a Game on Xbox One X

If your console is having issues starting up and giving a black screen, try using this guide:

How to reset your Xbox One console to factory defaults using a USB flash drive. This should correct any startup issues with the console.

Side Note:
It is
very important to make sure you know the primary email/password to the account before removing
it from the console.



To check the email being used with the gamertag, go to
Settings > Account > sign-in, security & passkey;
in middle column at the top it will say "show on home"
if it is checked it will rotate from gamertag and email on homepage. If it is not check marked, it will show in this box.

Thanks for the reply! I recommend trying a
power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.
