Black Screen after launch

When I switch on my xbox one it comes up with the loading screen, which takes much longer then usual. Then it loads and is a black screen. However, I can turn it off still from the off menu.

Can't Play Downloaded Game, Tried Trouble Shooting.

Can you elaborate on the black screen glitch issue? I experienced this after downloading Motorcross Madness this weekebd (one of this month's Games w/ Gold). As soon as I launch the game, I get the black screen. Only way to get out is to reboot console.

 

Titanfall won't launch

Just bought my shiny new xbox one titanfall bundle today. Downloaded titanfall and it won't launch. I see the EA and Respawn splash screens but after the trademark screen it goes black. What gives? Is everyone having this issue?

Yeah, me too. Been searching online and tried various things to no avail. I was worried it'd died, but maybe there's hope if it's not just me...

 

Speaking to support, they're telling me the firmware is defective and the console needs repairing. 'You can process a repair order through myservice.xbox.com' fee applicable or not depending on warranty, mine is of course past.

 

You may need a repair, but sometimes you can fix this yourself. Hold the power button for about ten seconds until the console shuts down, then remove the power cord from the back of the console for 10 minutes. If that doesn't work, some people have managed
to get it to work by leaving it unplugged overnight.

The next step is to try using the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool:
support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool. Start with OSUDT2, and of that doesn't work, use the Reset to defaults file. You will have to reinstall all games and apps that were on your internal hard drive if you have to do that one though.


If all of that fails, you will most likely have to send it in for repair, which as Kira Ivanov shared can be done through

Thank you all for trying to help me out but unfortunately none of these have worked, so I am going to send it back for repairs.

 

Mine just did the same thing. Did a hard reset. Green screen with logo and dot animations run and takes longer then normal. Then black screen. No sounds when controller sticks are moved. Seems like all our boxes got fried with that new update.
