here’s the story. i’m in the middle of playing witcher when my power cuts. it’s texas summer, so i’m not too surprised, mostly annoyed. it comes back on about 15 minutes later, and when i turn it on, it goes through the green XBOX loading screen, then goes to what would usually be the sign in screen. thing is, it’s blank. usually pressing the xbox button on the controller fixes it, but not this time. interestingly, i know it’s receiving the command to do it, and is actually doing it, cause i can see the tiniest bit of shade change when i press the button. and also, when i hold the button to bring up the power options, it displays that fine. it just won’t bring up any other menu. i’ve hard restarted and unplugged it multiple times. unplugging it for around 30-40 seconds did absolutely nothing. i’m really hoping the power cut didn’t kill my xbox, but i’m losing hope fast. any help is greatly appreciated.

Turn off the console and disconnect the power cord to make sure the console is completely off.

Plug it back in.

Press and hold the Pair button and the Eject button at the same time, then press the power button on the console.

Continue pressing the Pair button and Eject button for 10 to 15 seconds.

You will hear two "power on" tones after a few seconds.

You can release the Pair button and Eject button after the second power-up tone.

This will take you to the troubleshooter, there you will need to reset the console, you can choose the option to keep games and applications.

The power button on my Xbox started flashing when it got to the startup screen after that the screen turned black and it booted up normally

I am truly sorry about this, but I would highly advise you to follow the instructions mentioned in this link (section: Your screen is blank after you turn on the console/Reset your display settings) => Troubleshooting a blank TV screen or monitor while your Xbox is on | Xbox Support.

If that doesn't help, you can try a physical reset on the console by following the steps below:

- Turn off the console unplug all the cables then re-plug them back again.

- Click on the "Bind" and "Eject" buttons at the same time after 10 seconds click the home "X" button just once without letting go of the two buttons. Throughout the whole process you will hear two beep sounds and end up with a troubleshooting page. On your screen. You will need to select the "Reset this Xbox" option and choose "Reset and keep my games and apps".

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
