black ops wont install from disk

keeps saying its not an xbox one game.

and i need to request a rewards deposit since there was no group found on that either

Having problems with lots of newer games on older 360

Christmas was good for the kids. Got GTAV .. after 2 disk swaps from fred myer never successfully installed. Traded it for store credit and got Assasins creed Black Flag. Disk 2 worked great, but dont want to play online, disk 1 was unrecognizable, never
finished install. Got Battlefield 4, installed clean no problem. Patched defiance for 2 hours ran great. opened minecraft and played no problem. Tried to load Black ops ghosts, no luck. So I have to ask, I do not think it is my xbox. GTAV, BLACK OPS GHOSTS,
ASSASINS CREED BLACK FLAG all no go on install. Minecraft, battlefield 4 defiance no problem. Thats over $180 in games that wont install. Is there a problem with the older 360's and these games?

 

Black ops 3 wont initialize

We have had our 1 and Black ops 3 since Christmas. We have never had any problems until recently. My son went to play and he got an error saying that we needed to insert disk. Well the disk had been in the entire time. For some reason when we put black ops 3 in it wont even recognize the disk. Madden16 and Deminsions both work just fine but our BO3 disk acts like its not even being read. Live is working good our internet is fine the disk itself has no scratches or smuges. I'm at a loss as to what we need to do. Please help, I deleted the game from the console to try and reinstall it but the game disk doesn't read at all.

Are there any scratches or cracks on the disc and do you have issues with your Xbox One reading any other games? If you haven't already give your Xbox One a quick power cycle by holding the power button down for 8-10 seconds, then try again.

Same here. My disk is in great condition and I have no problem reading other disks... It just doesn't recognize black ops

 

I just did this with some one and it worked for them if what Mister Maka said does not work you can try this it worked for the user I was helping Earlier he unplugged cable and did the below steps and he was able to install the game.

Disconnect and reconnect your console's power cable

1.Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2.Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds. Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3.Plug the console power cable back in.

4.Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Can you please try these steps below for me.

Go to Settings > All Settings > Disc & Blu-ray > Blu-ray > Persistent Storage > Clear > Restart.

Make sure the disc is not inside the console while doing the steps.

Try the Xbox 360 disc to see if it will automatically install.
