Black ops server needs a reboot

Multiplayer on Black Ops 1 is just a mess atm. You get black screen with Black Ops logo and a spinning circle constantly. When trying to get into a match it just hangs there.

Hi for the past 14 hours or so i have not been albe to get online with black ops 1 it keeps telling me the black ops server is down. I have checked online with black ops and it says there server is fine.

Keep in mind that this game is 8 years old and the developer, Treyarch, probably uses minimal time and resources maintaining the game.

 

I have had the same problem. There is no problem with 2 or call of duty but it wont let you in to play. I figured it was probably going to get retired. It would have been nice to tell people because they pay for xbox live and then cant use it for one of
the games they like to play. Not nice.

I'm sorry to hear that Black Ops1 is having issues.

I would actually like to notify it seems to be an ongoing issue with Activition.

Not only is BO1 having issues but so is for ex; MW2, MW3, Ghosts..

It's been reported lately that the old COD games servers are suffering. Sad but we can't blame Tryarch or Activision, they have to invest all their resources on new titles.
