Black ops offline multiplayer

trying to play local split screen multiplayer on the first black ops and it keeps telling me I have to have xbox live. What do I do?

Is it just me or was Black Ops more fun?

Campaign: Black Ops

Zombies/Spec Ops: Black Ops

Multiplayer: Black Ops

Black Ops still blows.

Go into offline mode, load black ops to the menu, go back onto online mode and then choose,load into multiplayer. This worked for me. Hope it works for others

 

As far as I know if you want to play a Local Match you must;

1. Go into multiplayer

2. Select 'local'

3. Select split screen

4. controller two press 'start'

5. select 'guest' or a different account

6. press 'A' to accept

7. press 'A' to enter the lobby

And then you should be able to set up the match and begin playing.

 

In order to play any game on xbox 1 you have to have an current live account. My suggestion is to create a new account and sign in. If it still continues to not allow you to play either reset your console and start over or contact
the xbox live support team.
