Black Ops III Beta Concern!

If you find your codes don't work, go to xbox.com and navigate to the redeem a code page. Then, before entering your code, scroll to the bottom of the page and on the left change your location to Brazil. Scroll back up, enter your code and Robert is your
Mother's Brother.

This will allow you to download the Beta, I have just done it myself.

 

We cant give out codes on the forums. This is against forum rules ClBlitz

Also, there is a service alert issued detailing problems using/redeeming codes on Xbox Live. It does say Microsoft and Xbox are working with their partners to get it working again

 

Yep loads of people reporting problems redeeming codes on Xbox LIVE so just a case of waiting it out.

I tried the beta on PS4 and to me it felt like they was trying to make it a bit like Titanfall but it just didn't play as good ( in my opinion )

To be honest I didn't expect that I would buy COD this year ( always worth trying if given the chance though ) and now I know I definitely won't be buying it.

 

According to what I'm reading on Twitter,

Both Microsoft and the games developers have said they are aware of the problems people are having redeeming codes but are working to get it fixed ASAP.

Status alert is still up highlighting this issue.

Is this beta going to be open to everyone at some point? Would have tried it on PS4 but dont have ps plus, just curious really doubt i will be buying it this time, its gradually getting more not to my liking with each iteration

 

Dont worry only select people have it, seems to be the people that preordered it online through xbox or microsoft... hmmmm... Seems everytime a new release or something big comes out something goes wrong with the servers, or xbox live, or something. You
would think that all the money we pay for these consoles and monthly membership fees that they could upgrade and prepare for stuff like this, or at least repair the issue in a reasonable amount of time..... I shouldve got a PS4.

 

no need to be concerned, xbox live for redeeming codes is down again like it has been so many times this year.

activision email you the code. if you don't have it by now contact them..

but again no rush xbox live is playing up again surprise surprise.

xbox live is as much down as playstation nowadays

I had to do that. I was going to say the same thing here but you already said it. It did work for me.

MS really needs to work this kind of stuff out. I tried yesterday at around 5 or so by getting my codes on my COD profile page well before my email came. Probably was not too many people downloading at that time. And the codes did not work. I tried every
little bit last night and nothing and decided to wait until this morning. Nothing, still the error. Seems that they could have fixed a redeem code issue a little faster than that. I was able to redeem my Gears UE code that came with that game. So I guess
it was mostly effecting COD. Still, over 12 hours. May only be a beta but this is a big name to have people posting around about issues. Just is not going to look good.

 

I played the BETA on the PS4 - it had it's share of issues. Like, it took some users over 7 hours to download on fast BT Infinity FTTC connections.

BustaDaily, yeah issues happen everywhere. I played it as well and it was ok. My son loves the series though and sometimes I play it just because we have it. But the issue here is that MS has the codes not working. Since at least 5 yesterday. Now, I
did go to my profile page and get mine before the email but others had reported them working at that time. Mine where not which is why I checked the COD forums and found that out. Figured mine would start working and no luck this morning at 8. Finally tried
online and nothing as well until I changed from the U.S. to Brasil. And like it or not MS has to understand that these things are going to hurt more this time. People are critical of this console and see there may be better options. These things are being
blown up other places and it seems like regularly I see things about issues and then they stay front page on many forums.

And, this is bigger, I have seen them as topics on plenty of sites front and center. I have had people tell me they saw on Yahoo a story (might be from Yahoo, Forbes, or others) about the One. This issue or that issue. And it only serves to push people
away. This, a big name game, will put a bad light on the One for this. People saying things like I am having these types of issues all the time and stuff. And contrary to belief many read forums that never post. They are searching to check things out before
buying. Case in point I know a non-gamer who actually was asking me about the One because of reading this and that here and other forums and was not sure she should by for her sons. I told her my experience and the issues that I have personally seen and
how quick (or not) they were resolved. Pointed out issues with other consoles for perspective and she decided to buy the One due to them already having 360 games (BC can be big for parents) and friends that play there. She had no clue about BC and really
thought the One had many issues not present with other platforms that just where not true. This issue with these codes does not help.
