Black Ops Cold War Xbox One won’t launch

Been trying for days now to launch Cold War on my Xbox One. I get the intro and then the black screen with the loading icon in the bottom right and it stays on that screen for 30+ minutes without actually loading the game.

i have tried the tricks on other threads for series x like hitting the xbox button on my controller during launch, going to home screen during launch to let it load in the background. I have done a hard restart as well. I am trying to avoid a hard console reset and reinstalling the game, but i am running out of options. Console and game are up to date. I pre ordered the cross gen bundle and have had no issues until this one. If someone has had this problem and knows a solution, i need help.

Hi!

Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

I tried to update my cold war (on disc) and I waited 4 hours and it stayed at 0% the whole time so I turned my console off and on again and now my cold war has vanished from "my games and apps" and my disc no longer works in my console so I have no idea what to do
