    Black Ops Cold War x Series X issues


    Hello,

    I will try to make this make as much sense as I possibly can as I think this is different to the other issues others have experienced.

    To start and to be clear:-

    - I have the Cross Gen Bundle

    - I have the 130gb ‘optimised’ version installed

    - The XB1 version is NOT installed

    - I run the game via the display settings on Xbox at 1440p 120hz

    - Ray Tracing and Motion Blur are disabled in game

    Onto the issue which has caused me to uninstalled and reinstall the game twice now...

    I cannot pinpoint when this started to happen but the game has crashed due to me looking on the leaderboards.

    After this and ever since, the game is not running at the same capacity i.e. Looking good and running very smoothly. The game looks very grainy and looks like its running at 30fps! Also my controller is not getting any vibration feedback despite being active
    in the options which is weird.

    The game still loads into matches really fast but the rest of the performance has disappeared.

    As said above, I have:-

    - Uninstalled/Reinstalled the S/X version twice

    - Soft resetted the console

    - Tried other optimised games such as Warzone, Maneater and Watch Dogs which all seems to be fully operational.

    The only thing I havent done is a hard reset.

    Any advice on this? Has anyone else had this bizarre issue?

    Call of Duty Black ops Upgrade to X/S

    From what I can tell, to access the Series X version of the game, you need the Cross-Gen bundle...once you buy that, you should then be able to download and install the Series X version. Without the cross-gen bundle it will, presumably, just install the XB1 version

    From the Store page:

    "For digital owners of the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War Standard Edition, this upgrade will unlock the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War Cross-Gen Bundle, giving access to the Xbox Series X|S version of the game. After upgrade purchase, search in the Xbox store for the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War - Cross-Gen Bundle to install the Xbox Series X|S version of the game."

    Hi!

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:
