    Black Ops Cold War will not start on my xbox


    I bought and downloaded the game on my xbox. I was instructed to buy a membership, I did.

    Now I own a game pass and black ops, but when I press the "A" button to start the game, I am taken to a screen that asks me to buy the game, it's the only option I have.

    When I press A to buy the game, I am taken to another screen that says I've already purchased the game....and this loop just keeps going over and over.

    I am asked to purchase it, then told I own it, then told to purchase it again.

    HOW DO I START THE GAME!

    Hi!

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

    How come when I open call of duty black ops coldwar a pop up appears saying purchase game then another pop up appears saying game already installed but still wont let me play mind you I own this game.

    Go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.

    Make sure that these packs are installed:
