Black Ops Cold War attachments locked

It appears that the ability to change attachments has been locked in Cold War in order to synchronize content with Vanguard, and making Vanguard purchase a necessity if you want to continue playing the game You have already bought, at the level already achieved. This is a blatant hostage taking of the game I purchased, and have advanced for the last year. Obliterating the levels and prestige in an attempt to level the playing field across the title is one thing. Resetting the attachments, locking everything, is a step too far in that it also greatly impacts competitive multiplayer gameplay.

What happens when the next call of duty release next year? I’m not going g to stick around to find out. I’m done spending money on a game only to be told a year latter I must purchase another game if I want the first one to work correctly. Plain and simply a ripoff.

At the start of Season One, Military Rank and Prestige progression will be synchronized with Vanguard across titles. That means you’ll begin the season at the Military Rank or Prestige Level you’ve currently reached in Vanguard, or Military Rank 1 if you haven’t played Vanguard yet. From there, you’ll able to progress your Vanguard Military Ranks in Black Ops Cold War, Warzone, and Modern Warfare to unlock weapons, Equipment, Killstreaks, and other content for use in Vanguard and Warzone as you play.

My warzone pacific does not want to load in game it gives me a snowflake message what should i do it has been 2 days already and nobody can help me

Hi!

Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

What version of the game do you own and how are you trying to upgrade it?

My understanding is that you need to purchase the upgrade directly via the store on the Series X.
