I’m being told to buy black ops 4 even though I pre ordered it already and I’m not going to spend $100 more so what can I do?

Please just make sure you're signed into your email linked to your Xbox account and that the game is available for Xbox before you make the purchase.

yes I've noticed it started happening with black ops 3 before I bought black ops 4

 

Im having the same issue but im gamesharing instead, so my friend bought it about a month ago and i have his game share, i was able to play the beta but now its asking me to buy it even though i have his game share

You can go to
Account website go to your order history and see if the purchase went through. If ordered with a debit/credit card it charges 10 days before the release. If you use Microsoft currency it will take the payment immediately. If the charge says cancelled you
will have to purchase it do to something happened where it didn't get the money for game.

Sorry is hould have mentioned he can play Bo4 and install it, i definently have his game share as i checked about 5 mins ago and it says my xbox is his home xbox and yet even with his gameshare i have no Bo4 in my ready to install tab and when i check
the store it says i have to buy it. The game share should be working as he bought the game on his account and that same account is the one im game sharing with.
