Black ops 4 doesn't launch

When I try to launch CoD Black Ops 4 it opens the black screen and then immediately shuts down without describing a problem. I have tried re-install the game twice however it didn't help. What shall I do?

there i preordered black ops 4 will i download it on launch say or dose it get sent out to me. Plus when will i get charged for it as it says 10 day befor launch but still nothing been taking

Hi! Are you trying to launch the CoD Black Ops 4 full game (placeholder) or the actual beta? Make sure you have downloaded the beta as these are two separate games on your Xbox.

Please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds to see if that helps. If you have the game installed on an external hard drive you could also try moving it to the internal (or vice versa if need be)

Hey Seven,

Sorry to hear about CoD crashing on you, let's try to get you back on that prestige grind! I see you've already tried re-installing as well as power cycling the console. I want you to try clearing out your local saves by going to Settings>System>Storage>Clear
Local Saved Games. This will restart your console. If this doesn't fix the game, try performing a

factory reset while keeping your games and apps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select System.

Select Console info & updates.

Select Reset console.
