Black ops 4 crashing Xbox One X

Black ops 4 released yesterday, and I cannot play a single match without it crashing. At some point in the match the screen freezes and my xbox turns off. I am also not receiving any of the Black Ops Pass content that I should be getting with that, but
for now I'd like to focus on this constant crashing issue. I would like to play this game but if it is doing this I can't. Do I get a refund if if the game I bought is unplayable?

I've recently downloaded Black ops 4 on xbox one and it is constantly crashing. I've tried all the troubleshooting ideas and nothing works. Everything else works fine, what else can I do?

Thanks for posting, for issues with crashing and turning off the console do check out the following article:

Do note that some of these issues can be resolved by
renstalling the game and performing a
factory reset (using keep my games & apps) as well.

As for refunds, please use the
Contact Us portal to speak to an agent about a refund request.

Yea reinstalling doesn't fix this. Now I can't even get to the title screen without it crashing. As soon as I start it freezes and turns off my xbox. I honestly would like to report this product at this point this is ridiculous.

Thanks for the reply! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with the Xbox One X crashing during gameplay.

I suggest to do the troubleshooting step provided by XBF Ezra, performing a
factory reset (using keep my games & apps) well help the operating system on the Xbox in case there is any potential corrupted data.

Please try this and let us know the results.

I had the exact same issue,

I had to Uninstall and Power Cycle then Reinstall the Game
