Black ops 3 won't install!

So I spent 60 bucks in a game and it won't install passed 4%. Is anyone else having this issue? I have two Xbox ones at home and both give me the same error message the I should check the disc might be dirty. It's a brand new disc. Is Xbox trying to fix
this yet or what's the deal?

If you've already tried everything in the guide you'll want to try the disc in another console to see if it'll install there. If it doesn't then the issue is likely with the disc and it'll need to be replaced. If it does, then the issue could be with your
console. Try that and see if it works.

if you had any particular error code or screenshots you could share this may help us diagnose your problem for you.

 

Same problem here. There's also many others I've read are having trouble installing the game from the disk. One guy said that it's because the servers are too flooded right now, but actual answers on this subject are few and far between.

 

Thanks Derby. Just got my Xbox for Halo 5 and this is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Glad I got the PS4... So sad and I was a hardcore 360 supporter.

 

I was able to install it without any issues... like Derpy stated... the servers are too flooded... the only issue that i have is the none full screen on multi player mode couch co-op... you guys know why that happens?

We have seen reports on current scenario, however have you tried steps outlined here. When inserting the disc, are you
by any chance prompted for installing any DLC's, if so please leave the installation for the DLC before the game have fully completed.

Tried it all. I have a dead game for 60 bucks. Very frustrating..

 

What exactly were you doing at the time, as it was installing or when it gets stuck at 3%? I don't think it matters but when i installed the game, I just inserted the disc and I was in home screen until it said ready. Another thing you can try is; not using
the wifi, connect your Xbox to your network with cable/wired. My router is also converted from a 2.0 to a 5.0... has this happened with any other previous games that are as big as black ops?

 

i bought it digitally this morning from the xbox store, took 4+ hours to download and at 100% never said done. it showed up in my games and apps yet when i click on it it took me to the store and told me to install it..now the box art is missing from the
games tab & now when i try to reinstall it all i get is a circle spinning over and over with nothing happening... awesome game can't wait to not play it

 

Apparently a bunch of people (myself included) are having this problem with installs from the Black Ops 3 disc. My installation stops at 4% every time. Microsoft doesn't seem to be doing anything about it and Treyarch/Activision don't seem to be doing anything
about it either.

It sometimes feels like Microsoft wants people to switch over to Playstation with garbage like this and all the crap from the preview program. I used to be a big Xbox fan, but I could see myself switching to Sony if this kind of ridiculousness continues.

 

Keep getting stuck at 98% here. Beyond frustrating. Digital and retail. Same thing.
