Black Ops 3 - how to retrieve lost ranks/stats

I'm sorry to hear that your account has been hacked, I don't think there is any way of retrieving stats back to your account. Maybe try and contact Activision Support to see if they're able to help you.

actually the only thing you do is link your GT with elite allowing them to retrieve your stats from xbox dus giving xbox permission to share your details and stats with them. The reason it only works with black ops and up[ is because the former COD games
don't record the same stats and in the same manner

The offline rank file serves as a sort of backup file for your stats. If that file is not present and you played Black Ops 2 online before, it'll download the copy stored in Activision's servers.

I'm not 100% certain how the matchmaking system works but it could be that as you rank up you are being matched with better players so your stats might start to suffer.

I know that in Black Ops i didn't prestige for ages and I used to slaughter all the low level nooblets. Then as I started to prestige I was facing better players and my stats suffered.
