Black Ops 3 does not load on my XBox series X

Every time I try to play CoD: Black Ops 3, the game will load the main title of the guy sitting there, freeze then kick me back to XBox Home. This has been happening for months now, and I have contacted support. We go through the WHOLE thing. uninstalling, reinstalling, checking the DLC packs restarting, turning off instant power mode, to fully re-booting the xbox needing the app to set it up. This has only worked twice. Then the next day it won't work again and I have to do it ALL over again. One person suggested I contact Activision directly but they dont have an option for the Series X for this game, and now.. Xbox owns Activision...

I have used and external and an internal HD and they both do not work. I took my external over a friends and plugged it into his XBox 1 - and it works no issues at all.

I really hope its an easy fix and not something like 'you have to re-boot your console from scratch every time to play it' or worse, your Series X needs to be fixed, because now out of warranty.

No worries, I appreciate the help.

Even though other people have said these things - I am still willing to try and see if it something that can be corrected.

I contacted Activision to see if its a bug on their part (like when Black Ops: Cold War was released - it didnt work on Series X... now it does) , but I want to get this fixed.

In this case, it would be best to submit a ticket to Activision in that way they can check for advanced troubleshooting steps. You can let them know that this is the only game that you're having an issue with.

its a digital download - and I have uninstalled and reinstalled it already too.

I appreciate it, kindly try to move the game as well on your Internal Hard drive and then remove the hard drive before performing a powercycle to launch the game.

Keep the hard drive unplugged just to test it out.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
