    Black Ops 3 DLCs need to be repurchased?


    I recently replaced my black ops 3 disc as it was so badly scratched my xbox wouldnt play it. When I put the new disc in and launch the game suddenly all of my DLC’s have green arrows next to then prompting me to install them. When I open it up in the microsoft store it says i have to pay. However, when I “manage game” in my settings it clearly shows my DLCs as installed. I have had these maps for years so i dont get why suddenly I need to buy them again. Help!

    Hi Odin,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question on DLC. This is all on the developers. Some DLC they will allow and some they don't. As in this case the DLC needs to be repurchased again. Good example is Call of Duty Black OPs. First two DLC are backward
    compatible, the second two you need to purchase again. We totally understand the frustration in this, you can post on the developer forums as to how you feel. Maybe with enough wanting it, they can make it backward compatible also.

    The version of Black Ops 1 you get with 3 is literally just the original Black Ops 1. No DLC, not remastered, just the same base game that came out 6 years ago.
