Black Ops 3 crashes after update

My copy of Black Ops 3 crash at the loading screen with the Treyarch logo after updating.

I can play offline, without the update, but the moment I download the update the game continues to the crash at the big orange Treyarch logo screen.

It's a physical copy of the game (Juggernog Edition) and it works on another xbox one so it's not the disc, it's just the update. I've tried everything and I really don't want to have wasted my money.

fix update titanfall freeze and crash problem remove. need old back update 3 before.

why everyday each change challage dairly happen that might.

Still having issues. I can load Netflix and HBO-go, but after two minutes it crashes saying there is an issue. Also bought Black Ops 3 earlier and it did not download right away and never showed up in my games until 2 hours after. Hopefully this is resolved
soon.

Since this began have you tried a full power cycle on your console? Hold down the power button for 10 seconds (or until your Xbox One shuts off) and the turn it back on. If that doesn't help with the crashing can you try starting up the game on a different
profile to see if there's any change with the way it's acting?

 

Power cycling does nothing, I've tried it way too many times. I just tried it with another profile and it still crashes. I just don't understand what kind of effect updating has on it to make it crash on start up.

The next step would be to uninstall the game and re-install it. It'll take a bit of extra time but it should clear it up. keep us in the loop with how a re-install goes

 

That doesn't help. I've already tried doing that too many times to count.

Again, the issue only happens when I update my game. It works fine on other consoles but when I update the game on my console, it doesn't. It's gotta be something to do with updating on my console in particular.

 

Same boat here, has been working fine, however today I am now having the exact same problem. Uninstalled, cycled power, re-installed profile, tried a new profile. Works fine on my friends xbox one with the same disc. All my other games work absolutely fine.
I have essentially purchased a shiny tea coaster.....

 

Ok Listen up people.

The issue is the game verifies itself online when the servers go down which happened today your games cannot properly sync to one drive causing them to freeze also several games require you to be wired to the internet not wireless

No, it's still not working. I'm most likely going to sell my copy and will buy it for the Playstation instead tomorrow as I doubt it'll be fixed by then. This is ridiculous.

 

Same here, still having issues. Considering selling this Xbox for a PS4. I even have OTHER apps crashing now too.

It was bad enough that I had to wait 12 hours to play the game because the install takes forever, but now this? I can't justify the $60 for the game yet let alone the $500 Xbox.

As a 15 year Xbox owner this might be the last straw.

To clarify iSystemERR0R, if you set your console to offline you're able to start the game normally? In this case it sounds like it may be tied to your network. Can you try fully powering off your Xbox One and while it's off unplug your network hardware for
30 seconds and reconnect? Let us know if there's any change then.
