Black ops 2 Xbox 360 hacked games

I have played Black ops 2 on Xbox 360, online, since it started, It is increasingly hard to get into lobbies which are not hacked. Why arn't these servers banned. Can Xbox live create a "punkbuster" mod?

It is ridiculous as I can be online for an hour trying to find a "clean Game". It was bad enough playing against modded controllers but surely Erroneous codes can be blocked???

Sort this out, I pay to use Xbox live and these corrupt games are ruining my entire experience!!

you are saying you blackops 2 was hacked, is this you whole xbox profile or just your black ops 2 online profile?

 

As long as you're filing complaints on those users, the enforcement team will investigate them and take action, but it is up to the developers to patch their games to keep it from happening in the first place.

The servers can't be banned, because there are no 'Server's, at least there aren't any servers like you're thinking. Activision has COD servers, but all these do are keep track of your online record and facilitate matchmaking, they don't
host games. The older call of Duty games choose a player in a lobby to be the host, and then this host is the one who acts as the server for the rest of that match, or even consecutive matches. If these hosts have mods, they will effect the game for everyone
else.

As Smwutches has already stated, it is up to the developer\publisher to fix there own games, not Microsoft. It's not a cost free process, and with the game being so old, not viable.

Call of Duty WW2 on the other hand has dedicated servers, which means cheating, while still technically possible, is pretty much an non issue. Dedicated servers can't be modified in the same way as peer to peer games can.

 

Why can't Micro/Live be pro-active in banning these modders? Every game is modded!!! Asking the players to report modders is like aking your guests to kill the mosquito that just bit them, instead of spraying the yard to protect them. I didn't pay for
Live so that I could do your job. I could see if it were a rare occasion, but it is literally every game!!! Stop blaming the developer and start earning your money............
