    Black ops 2 won't work


    my black ops 2 won't work, everytime I click on multiplayer it says I have to be signed in to my Xbox account(which I am). I've tried everything from signing in to different account to restarting my Xbox and even deleted on re-downloading the game. P.s I
    do not own a hard copy I bought it on the Xbox 360 and one

    Black Ops 2 still won't work

    I have Black Ops 2 on digital download and I have not been able to access it for 4 days.

    I keep getting the message to insert game disc or I have to sign in to xbox live which I am.

    It also says I need the rights to the game from the store so I go there and it says the game is installed and it is ready to play but won't let me.

    Can someone please tell me what the he'll is going on? I own the game so I should be able to play it and I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it does the same thing and has, as an added bonus, wiped by saved data off as well.

    Hello DemonizedDevil!

    Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with playing Black Ops 2.

    I can imagine how that could be frustrating, let's see if we can help out with this.

    I suggest that first you make sure that you're signed into the correct account that bought the game by signing in online and checking out your order history to make sure.

    Once you are able to verify that you're in the right account, then I would redownload your account following the steps here on

    How to add or remove a Microsoft account on Xbox One     and see if that helps.

    If that doesn't resolve the issue, then maybe I give what we call a soft reset of your console.
    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted
    reset and keep my games and apps.

    Does the console read any other games or just black ops 2? If it is just black ops 2 that won't read please check the disk to see if there are any scratches that prevent the console from reading the disk.
