    Black Ops 2 Down?


    I attempted to play Black Ops 2, however instead I got an error message about how I couldn't connect to BO2 online. Is the game server currently up or is there an issue with the servers?

    first impression, Blops 2?

    I dont see how people are comparing Black ops 2 to Halo, Black ops dosen't have aliens or anything. I'm indifferent about Black ops 2,

    According to the following service status:
    www.callofduty.com/.../status     and
    http://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status     everything should be up and running (as we speak).

    Can you verify if you're still having trouble getting connected to Black Ops 2 online service.

    Also, let us know if you're able to play any title in online-mode.

    Was playing a closed session with my friends on zombies and out of nowhere cant connect to services but still talking to friends in party. We waited for about 20 min and its back up

    From what I have learned, this was also the work of the so-called "Lizard Squad". The same ones who took down: Playstation, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Destiny, Ghosts, etc.

    So yes, the game is down. Or at least, it was temporarily.

    The issues seem to happen every day in the evening. It's been going down and kicking everyone out of lobbies with the error message off and on for the last three or four days.

    Do you mean black ops 2? or call of duty 2? Alot of people are having problems with the black ops 2 servers. As for call of duty 2, they may have possibly shut down the servers because its a dead game.
