Black Ops 1 Servers--Cannot connect

Tried to play Black Ops 1 on my Xbox one, and it says that servers are not available at this time, although I am able to see people on my friends list playing with no issues. Anyone else having this problem? I was able to connect for about 3 minutes, but
I could not search a game, and it then kicked me off and said that I wasn't connected to xbox live.

I do not get an actual error code at all. It simply says that i cannot currently connect to the black ops servers and to check www.callofduty.com/blackops for status and updates. In essence I get the same message that would appear if the servers themselves
were not functioning. My 360 emulator appears to be connected to xbox live, as I can see my friends list and send messages, however for some reason I just cannot seem to connect to the black ops 1 online servers for multiplayer or zombies.

 

Disconnected from XBL when trying to play Black Ops on Xbox One

I attempted the factory reset and it still will not let me connect to black ops 1 servers.

 

im having this problem, i havent been able to get on at all though and like u said i can see my friends playing it fine with no problems

 

Create another gamertag on your xbox one and try to go online with that. You can use your existing gold membership with the new gamertag. If you can then that likely means your main gamertag is banned.

 

Shouldn't it have simply said this account has been banned if that was the case?

 

I created a new gamertag on my xbox one and still was unable to connect to the servers. Good to know the game i have been wanting the most to be backwards compatible is simply broken
