Sorry to inform you but that is a coincidence,

the only thing that does is remove the DNS cache ( Domain Name Server ) Registration information for the actual computer your on nothing more. The other command registerdns will reregister the DNS.

thats exactly the same message I have gotten since the game became backwards compatible.

I keep receiving the message "The Call of Duty Black Ops servers are unavailable at this time" followed by a link to an activision support page that no longer exists. I have tried restarting my xbox, restarting my router, redownloading the game. Nothing
works. Doesn't allow me to play multiplayer or zombies. I went to activision's support and they sent me here. I've seen and heard plenty of others waiting for a fix. It's very pathetic when you buy a game to find out you can't play it. Help please!
