Black Ops 1 - No Multiplayer/not signing me in

Hey guys not sure if im the only one this is happening to but Black Ops 1 (2010) isnt allowing me to play online (multiplayer)

Every other feature works on the game but multiplayer -I've triple checked my wifi, its strength, the NAT etc, wifi & internet all working fine with other games/apps but this. So not sure if its a Microsoft or Activision problem!?

When I put the disc in, it loads up as normal, takes me to home page w the story mode, multiplayer, zombies etc

Click multiplayer, then takes me here

I click Multiplayer then takes me to this sign in page (even though im already signed in)

Obviously click sign in, then it either loads for ages then freezes which requires me to restart the game

Or

Will come up with this below saying I'm not signed in, but in top right corner, I've signed in

Someone pls help!!!!

Have you tried checking the server if there is any on going outage or maintenance for this game?

Please try these steps below.

Physically power cycle the console.

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button  on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button  on the console or the Xbox button  on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

Disconnect and reconnect your console's power cable.

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
Plug the console power cable back in.
Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn it on.

I hope these steps works. Let us know if none of these steps work so we can provide further troubleshooting steps to fix the problem.

For me Black Ops 1 was by far my favorite COD game. I loved the multiplayer, Jungle was my favorite! Didn't care for MW3, or even Black Ops 2... I want another game just like the first Black Ops!

Black Ops allows split-screen online multiplayer for most multiplayer modes. Sign in on your Gold account and have your wife sign in as a "guest" from the lobby and you'll be on your way.

No errors on multiplayer and nat type open still! Im trying to play black ops 2 for 360 i play it every evening but tofay it will not let me sign into xbox live
