Black monitor during gameplay

The console will only go into standby if you do not use the console for a long period of time and the console would turn off.

If it's a problem with the console resetting the console to factory defaults can help.

Reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>

Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

**Do not reset the console without having your login information such as email and password

Xbox shuts down during gameplay, freezes during both disk and digital copies, and black screen during gameplay. I went through all the steps prior to servicing the machine, purchase new bricks and power supplies, and factory reset the system. I'm not connected
to a surge protector and the system is properly ventilated in an open space.

I got a black screen last night during gameplay. I reloaded the last point and that seemed to fix the issue for me.

Change your tvs lads! I was playing on a sony Bravia and the exact same thing happened... Changed to a samsung and it worked... No more 1-2 second black screen... Something's wrong with certain tvs not being able to handle the capacity of the xbox one!

i got that also, no matter what game i play (ryse, forza, peggle). i thought it would have to do with the one's hdmi input.
