Today is Black Friday and Xbox Live will message you say you learn 5 bucks but me and others did not have it do we get it at some point or are we unlucky?

I am going Black Friday shopping but not for games. I will pick some up if I see a good deal though. I love to shop on Black Friday. I've seen a lot of stores have been running online sales all week - some even better than their Black Friday sales.

There are no requirements posted anywhere for this one. Microsoft occasionally sends out currency for the holidays. They usually send in waves, Like one group now another little later and so on. Just keep an eye out for it.

What does the Xbox message state. Checked my accounts I haven't received the message either. It probably is a random thing. As to when you will get there is no time limit as there is no information on this. its like a gift from them. I know last year they
had the same thing and people got it at varying times. I got one around Christmas last year.

There are no specific sets of requirements when gifts like this are sent out. They are sent out at random and to different accounts for different reasons. There is no way to know why 1 account receives it and another doesn't. Unfortunately not everyone
will get one.

 

With this promotion some got lucky, and some did not. I'm one of the unlucky ones in this case. Just keep checking in on your Xbox Messages from time to time. They occasionally send out rewards at random like this.

 

It seems to be totally random on who gets the promotion. As others mentioned here they might be doing it in waves. Although if they gave all Xbox owners money I imagine that could get really expensive for Microsoft.

I believe this is a random promotion. I didn't receive this either.
