Black friday sales a scam !

i would like to know why most of the black friday sales are barely any cheaper than the games were before they were reduced.

i checked the games that i wanted the day before and i noticed the prices that are now slashed with these "percentage deals" are higher than the retail was the day before

a few examples are:

Fallout Far Harbour was £15.99, raised to £19.99 then the black friday 30% was taken off afterwards

Doom was 39.99, raised to 49.99 then was given the percentage decrease after

Forza 6 49.99 .... really? that is not a new game. i checked it the day before and it was 29.99 retail which is a good deal, but the price was raised to 49.99 then the black friday sale was taken off ... so noone is getting any price reduction !!!

its a scam and a blatent attempt to get as much money as possible.

and on top of everything ... digital downloads should be cheaper than discs anyway ! you dont have to manufacture a physical disc anymore. why ca i pick up most of these games on amazon or tesco all this week for almost half the price of your sale?

I donno where you been looking but forza 6 wasn't 29 bucks retail

It was retail 59

If you are comparing Amazon markrtplace there is a difference

Xbox marketplace is set by the publishers they tell ms what the prices are for black friday

Amazon or the publishers oesn't set the price the marketplace dealers do if you look at the listing it's usually third party rather then amazon for 29 or whatever for their own marketsplace stores.

Unless it says publisher as the seller it's going to be a marketplace seller

Which they can decide if they take a loss or not for blackfriday
