Black Friday sale

Do you guys recommend any games to pick up? I was really eyeing the Handsome collection. Is it worth it though? What did you guys get from the sale?

The day before black Friday. My local walmart has pre- black Friday sales.

 

Nothing i'm. full....(and. Just. Cause 3. is. coming tuesday).

Also,i already. got. all. good titles.....

And yes,Borderlands. is as. great. as. it. was. on. Xbox 360.....

Good. price,all DLCs. and hours. of. playtime. and fun....A must to play. (or. replay)

 

Not much of interest to me. Might get Telltales Borderlands though.

 

I picked up a GOW-Ultimate X1, A 4TB WD MB Desktop external drive, Rare Relay, Batman AC GOTY edition and a few other things (Blu-ray Dvd's etc at Wallyworld.

Then headed over to GS between 4 - 6 am where I picked up Fallout 3 GOTY (New) for 10 bucks and What I thought was Wolfenstein the Old Blood (New) for 9.99 but when I got home and began loading it (Man does it take forever) it was Wolfenstein the New order
in the box instead. Figure that one out!

 

@Brandi Tales from the Borderlands is really good. I also recommend Game of Thrones which is also on sale now and I don't even watch it. Only seen 1 episode.

The Wolfenstein bundle is 16, that's really good too. I think I will get Handsome Collection!

 

Think the only game I was tempted with is Forza 6 for £23, but thankfully for my wallet there hasn't been many games on sale that I've wanted.

 

Handsome collection is only worth it for BL2. I warning you now, the pre-sequel is so bad that it literally made me sell all my BL games. It was so bad and half *** I couldn't believe it. The levels are some of the most abysmally made in game levels Ive
ever seen in a game, the characters are all forgettable, some of the voice acting is on par with a throat cancer ward. That little POS kid you meet is so annoying I wanted to kill him until his intestines fell out so I could strangle him all while pulling
out his eye without severing the optical nerve so I could turn it around so he could watch himself die, thats how annoying he is. The whole Australian thing fell very flat and was overused and also equally annoying.

Maybe it will be different for you but for me it ruined the franchise and I doubt I will ever go back.

 

Also dont get me started on the air supply BS. Talk about absolute pointless! Why have this mechanic at all ? There is air every canisters every 5 feet not to mention the oxygen spheres ever 6 feet. The entire design of that blatant cash grab was a fundamental
flaw in the franchise to a example to game devs everywhere as to what NOT TO DO! it sucks, to say it sucks would be like saying the ocean is wet. I am warning you, its garbage! PURE UTTER REFUSE!

 

I have bought every game I wanted on release so have found nothing that interest me game wise on Black Friday sales.

With that said, I did contemplate purchasing
ASSASSIN CREED SYNDICATE from Microsoft's Store for $39.99 but it is only for the disc version. The digital version is still $59.99. That's a joke
IMO.

 

The best game you can get right now is "Rise Of The Tomb Raider".

It's just so well made and works and plays so smoothly that it pips "Fallout 4" which is unfortunately a good game that falls well short of current gen expectations.

I am genuinely surprised at how good "Rise Of The Tomb Raider" actually is. If you ever enjoyed playing "Tomb Raider" in the past then this is a must grab.

 

I didn't get anything for the Xbox live BF sale, but cleaned up at best buy with Gamer's club unlocked. There were a lot more I wanted, but eventually had to stop.

I didn't buy anything from Xbox store, instead I brought these sweet games on BF sale from Walmart.

I was also going to get The Witcher 3, but didn't have it, and I already score a $12.50 deal for Xbox 3 month gold from MS store.

 

@Pick 34 That's a great haul! I didn't even know about the gamer's club. I read that its 20% video games? Is that how you got everything 10 dollar cheaper than the sale price? MM MGS and AC were all 10-15 higher most places at sale price but you managed
to get em even cheaper!
