Black friday 20 nov

So black friday is next week, but ms are stating gold members get early access on the 20th.

I dont see any deals? All the games are still overpriced vs physical copies.

Am i missing something?

My guesses are Nov. 19, 26 or Black Friday.

Xbox 360 was released on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005.

PS3 was released on Friday, Nov. 17, 2006.

I thought the prices would be better tbh. It doesn't look like all games are listed yet.

 

Right, the post says there'll be more games next weekend. Some of these look quite good though.

 

In many ways, the early access sale seems like an extended Deals With Gold offering. I still see some worthwhile deals, especially as someone with no interest in disc games and getting games digitally.

Dark Souls II: Scholar's of First Sin, $20; I never played last gen so looking forward to this.

Metro Redux (2033 & Last Light) for $17.99 is a bargain, definitely recommend if you haven't played them back on Xbox 360, and even if you had they're still totally worth replaying.

Halo Master Chief Collection for $30; seriously, that's a great deal too.

Anyhow, this is early access Black Friday deals, there's supposed to be even more relevant games being offered on the weekend Black Friday is on, so expect more deals next week.

You're right though, disc retail pricing is always ahead of digital retail pricing, but for those of us that prefer digital, times like these are opportunities to jump on top of sales, as you say digital tends to be overpriced. Still, I prefer the convenience.
I try not to overpay, which is why I wait for opportune digital discounts.

 

The best deal I got a few months back was Dragon Age inquisition for €20.00

 

they eventually appeared, so i purchased forza and gears pack. seemed a good deal.

I got it when it was $35 I think and it was worth it. I remember you asking about it and me answering a few questions when it went on sale again.

I'm actually playing through it another time right now... which I blame you for BTW... LOL

 

I haven't been too impressed with the sales so far, finally got the extra MKX characters at a good price and not that ridiculous $45 season pass so I'm happy with that.

Maybe they're saving the best for last?

 

I hope so. I'm looking forward to stocking up on new games.
