    Black Desert keeps crahing after 6-10 hours of gameplay on XSX


    This issue has been present since launch of XSX. Black Desert keeps crashing after around 6-10 hours of gameplay. The game just shuts down and crashes to dashboard. After the crash, if I open the game again, it will freeze and it can't be played until I restart the whole console.

    I can't believe this is still an issue almost 6 months after the release of the console.

    Black Deserts developers have said it's some issue to do with the hardware of XSX not allowing games to run longer than set periods of time.

    Black Desert is a game that involves afk activities heavily (fishing, training etc.) so the game is running mostly 24/7 for a lot of players.

    We have Xbox One X in the same household and it can run the game without crashes for more than a week 24/7. But XSX can't even hold 12 hours.

    It's really sad and pissing me off that I bought this new hardware and while the game is performing better FPS wise, the console keeps crashing the game multiple times per day. There's no specific activity that causes the crash. It's just playtime.

    I have reported this many times through the consoles report a problem function. It's still not even listed as a "known issue" so I thought I'd post it here as well.
