    Black Bars on a 1680x1050 resolution

    You can't really, you need to choose another resolution which gets rid of the two black bars. Try 720p or 1080i.

    Hi,

    Pretty much all 720P TV's have a PC resolution of 1368x768. This should be scaled down to 1280x720 without any black bars or missing information.

    Yeah as i said, im on windows 10. i can change my laptop resolution but this just means there is 2 huge black bars on the laptop itself. so ideally if i could record the game in my normal resolution, would be best, cheers

    Hi,

    Obsessive Abassador is right. Xbox does not support the 21:9 Aspect Ratio. HDR10 support seems to work, but I cannot select my Display Resolution.

    OK, black bars is it then ;-(

    Waiting for the system update.

    Black bars on sides when resolution 720 or 1080

    Issue resolved by using a different HDMI input on the TV. Now I have to rename them :(
